Artist Frances Wilks

Frances Wilks was born in the United Kingdom in 1992. In a very incarnated figurative style, she paints portraits, typical scenes and settings of her life using mainly acrylics because the synthetic and intense colors matched the subject matter she is painting, and she wanted the materials to feel processed and manufactured. Frances Wilks shows us that one can always hijack the codes and play with them.
